Application for pre-arrest bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 2.
Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.539/2014 of Adoor Police Station registered for offences punishable under Sections 324 and 307 I.P.C.

Prosecution case, in short, is that on 17-03-2014 the accused attacked the defacto complainant with a chopper causing extensive injuries on his body.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are family disputes between the defacto complainant and the accused. Marital relationship of the accused with his wife is in a rough weather. There are family disputes between the parties. Considering the gravity of the offence and the nature of
B.A No.5215 of 2015 2 incident coupled with the fact that recovery of weapon has to be facilitated, I find no reason to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.
