ORDER

Petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 2.

Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.72 of 2015 of Kilimanoor Police Station registered under Sections 66(E) and 67(B) of the IT Act and Section 13(b) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. Prosecution case, in brief, is that the petitioner made a marriage proposal to the victim, a minor girl and obtained her nude photographs. Thereafter he transmitted the same through face book and whatsapp, thereby committed the offences.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

Considering the nature of the allegations, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner as this is a case wherein custodial interrogation is highly necessary. Therefore, the bail application is dismissed.
