O R D E R

Application for pre-arrest bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 2.

Petitioners are accused in Crime No.956 of 2015 of Palakkad Kasba Police Station registered for an offence punishable under Sections 498 A r/w Section 34 I.P.C.

A private complaint was filed by the defacto complainant before the J.F.C.M Court, Palakkad, which was forwarded to the Palakkad Kasba Police Station under Section 156

(3) Cr.P.C. First petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant. Petitioners 2 to 4 are her in-laws. It is alleged that the petitioners treated her with cruelty immediately after the marriage. 4.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

Having regard to the relationship between the parties and the nature of offence, following directions are made :

1. Petitioners shall surrender before the investigating officer within a period of one week from today and submit themselves for interrogation. In that event, they shall be

B.A No.5706 of 2015 2 released on bail on executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- each (Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.

The sureties shall produce documents to establish their identity and solvency.

3 Petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when directed.

5. Petitioners shall not influence or intimidate witnesses.

6. If any of the above conditions is violated by the petitioners, the learned Magistrate having jurisdiction is free to cancel the bail.
