Bail application filed under Sec.439 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1057 of 2015 of Iritty Police station registered for the offences punishable under Sec.7 read with Sec.8, 9(n) and 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Prosecution allegation is that, the petitioner who is the step father of a 12 year old girl sexually assaulted her. The petitioner was arrested on 18.08.2015.,

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that after closing investigation, final report in this matter has been filed on 1.10.2015.

Considering the stage of the matter, I am not inclined to entertain the bail application in this court. The petitioner is free to move the Special Judge, Thalassery for bail.
