Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is accused in Crime No.892 of 2014 of Pavaratty Police station registered for the offences under Secs.420, 464, 468 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that he along with the co-accused attempted to pledge eight bangles of spurious gold at a bank.
3. Heard both sides.
4. The petitioner along with the co-accused went to the bank concerned and attempted to pledge eight bangles which they said were of gold. But it was revealed that they were of spurious gold. Two of the co-accused were arrested at the place of occurrence. The petitioner allegedly ran away. He is involved in other cases of similar nature. It is not proper to grant him anticipatory bail.
