ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C for anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners preferred this petition apprehending arrest by Kuravilangadu Police on an accusation of having committed a non-bailable offence. Kuravilangadu Police came to the residence of the petitioners and directed them to report at the Police Station.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that no case has been registered against the petitioners by Kuravilangadu Police. Therefore, the apprehension of the petitioners that they would be arrested by Kuravilangadu Police has no basis. In view of the submissions so made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition does not survive. Therefore, recording the submissions made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this Bail Application is closed.
