Petitioners are accused in Koothattukulam Police Station Crime Nos.379, 1410, 381 and 380 of 2015. Crime No.1410 of 2015 is registered under Section 394 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Other crimes are registered under Section 379 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that the accused persons are involved in various instances of chain snatching.

Learned Prosecutor opposed the application. It is her
BA Nos.7543, 7545, 7549 & 7551 /2015 submission that altogether the petitioners are involved in 11 cases. Some of the cases are registered in other Police Stations. Investigation in these cases have been completed. Final reports have been filed. Considering the stage of the matter and the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. They, if advised, can move the trial court for bail and in that event, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits. Bail applications are dismissed.
