This is an application filed under Sec.438 Cr.P.C.

2. Heard both sides.

3. When this matter has taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not pressing for hearing this application on merits.

4. In the result, the bail application stands dismissed as not pressed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to surrender before the Jurisdictional Magistrate and apply for regular bail, if so advised. If the petitioner surrenders before the Court and applies for regular bail, after serving the copy of the application for bail to the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor in advance, the Court below shall consider and dispose of the application for bail in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
