O R D E R

When this matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, has submitted that no crime has been registered against the petitioner as the petitioner is only a witness to a document and in the said circumstances, the respondent has no intention to arrest the petitioner or implicate the petitioner as an accused in the crime. If it appears in the course of investigation that the petitioner is to be made as an accused, notice will be issued in advance to the petitioner to enable him to seek appropriate remedies.
