ORDER
This petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C for anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner apprehends arrest by Maradu Police in Crime No.475 of 2015 on an accusation of having committed a non-bailable offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner is totally innocent in this case.
4. Learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that no allegations have been raised against the petitioner by the de facto complainant in Crime No.475 of 2015 and the petitioner has not been arrayed as an accused in this case. Therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner that he
B. A. No.8765 of 2014 -2would be arrested by Maradu Police has no basis. In the light of the submissions so made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition does not survive. Therefore, recording the submissions made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
