Petitions filed under Sec.438 Cr.P.C.
2. The petitioner is an LIC agent. The allegation is that she received from the first informant in each of the cases certain amounts towards premium of an LIC policy and failed to remit the amounts and misappropriated them. There is also an allegation that the amount obtained as loan by pledging the policy also was misappropriated by the petitioner.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations are false.
5. The premium payment card available in the case diary discloses receipt of the amounts by the petitioner in each of the cases. The very fact that the petitioner denies payment itself shows that her defence may not be true. There is prima facie case against her. She is not entitled to get anticipatory bail.
In the result, these bail applications are dismissed. Sd/- K. ABRAHAM MATHEW JUDGE / True Copy / NS P.A. To Judge
