ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C for anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner apprehends arrest by Mangalapuram Police on an accusation of having committed a non-bailable offence. The police came to the residence of the petitioner threatening arrest. In such a circumstance, the petitioner has preferred this petition.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that no crime has been registered against the petitioner by Mangalapuram Police. Therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner that he would be arrested by Mangalapuram

B. A. No.8831 of 2014 -2Police has no basis. In the light of the submissions so made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition does not survive.
