Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
The petitioners are accused Nos.3 & 9 in crime No.2784/2014 of Mathilakam Police Station, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 308, 324, 326, 427 & 452 r/w. Section 149 IPC. 2.
The allegation is that the petitioners along with the co-accused armed with deadly weapons like iron pipes formed themselves into an unlawful assembly and assaulted the informant and other members of his family and have thus committed the offences mentioned above.

The incident is the result of political clashes which take place in the locality one after another. Both groups use deadly weapons in the incident. It is not at all
B.A. No.8907 of 2014 -2proper to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. In the result, this application is dismissed. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners may be allowed to surrender before the learned Magistrate. They may do so, if they are so advised. Sd/- K.
