Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.2467/2014 of Kothamangalam Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 326 IPC. 3.
The allegation against the petitioner is that, on 23.10.2014 at 10.15 a.m., he abused the de facto complainant, who is his own brother, and attacked him with a chopper. It is alleged that he indiscriminately inflicted cut injuries on the de facto complainant with the chopper, thereby causing an injury on his head and also a fracture to one of his fingers.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor.

The contents of the CD, prima facie, reveal the

complicity of the petitioner. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. The investigation of this case is not over. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the present stage of the investigation, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail.
