Petitioners are said to have committed the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 427, 324, 307 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that they along with the co-accused assaulted the victim with swords, iron rod and shock absorber causing him serious injuries, on account of political enmity.

The victim sustained injuries on several parts of his body. One injury was lacerated wound on the left hand, the size of which was 5x1x1 cm. The nature of the injury makes probable the prosecution case that he was assaulted with the weapons mentioned above. The weapons are yet to be recovered. This is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
In the result, this application is dismissed. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner will surrender before the Investigating
B.A.No. 9143 of 2014 -: 2 :- Officer. He may do so if he is so advised.
