JUDGMENT

Earlier, this Court, through a judgment dated 07.10.2014 in W.P. (C) No. 23232/2014, directed the respondent Corporation to regularize the service of the petitioners forthwith in terms of Exhibit P12 therein. Complaining of non-compliance of the said direction by the respondent Corporation, the petitioners filed the present contempt case.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation has produced what are said to be the proceedings dated 05.01.2015 passed by the Corporation regularizing the service of the petitioners in compliance with judgment dated 07.10.2014 in W.P. (C) No. 23232/2014.

Cont. Case (c) No. 63 of 2015

3. In the facts and circumstances, since the order of this Court stands complied with, belatedly though, this Court feels that nothing survives in the contempt case and accordingly closes it.
