JUDGMENT
This contempt case is filed on the allegation that the respondents herein have willfully violated Annexure-AI judgment delivered by this court on 21.7.2014 in W.P.(C)No.16975 of 2014. It is stated that though salary for the month of July 2014 was paid in time as directed by this court, notwithstanding the fact that several months have passed after the judgment was delivered, arrears of salary and allowances for the period from 12.7.2011 till 30.6.2014 has not so far been paid.
2. When the contempt case came up before me on 2.6.2015, it was adjourned to today so as to enable the learned Government Pleader to get instructions from the Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Kottayam. Today when the contempt case came up for further hearing, Smt.P.A.Reziya, learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Kottayam submitted that the
C.O.C.No.715 of 2015 in W.P.(C)No.16975 of 2014 arrear salary bill has been countersigned on 29.5.2015 and payment will be made today itself or in any case in the course of this week. In such circumstances, as the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, I am of the opinion that no further orders are called for in this contempt case. It is accordingly closed.
