J U D G M E N T
Ashok Bhushan, CJ This contempt case has been filed alleging non-compliance of the directions issued by this Court in the judgment dated 22.12.2009 in W.P.(C) No.11446 of 2009. Against the said judgment, the Mahatma Gandhi University, who was the first respondent in the writ petition, had filed SLP (C) Nos.1116511172 of 2010 before the Apex Court. The Apex Court, by its judgment dated 8.4.2011 allowed the appeals and set aside the order of the High Court, subject to certain exception in the case of students mentioned in paragraph 11 of the judgment. 2.
Since the Apex Court had already allowed the appeals by setting aside the judgment of the High Court, against which non-compliance is complained of in this contempt case, we see no reason to proceed with the contempt case.
Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed.
