2. This Contempt Case has been filed alleging non compliance of the judgment dated 1.12.2014 in W.P(C). No.30609 of 2014. The Division Bench in the above Writ Petition directed the Government to treat Exhibit P22 as a revision petition filed under Section 99 of the Madras Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1951 and dispose of the same along with Exhibit P24 revision petition filed by the second petitioner within a period of six weeks.
3. The learned Government Pleader has submitted that order has already been passed by the State Government on 24.6.2015 in compliance with the judgment.
Cont.Case(C).951/15 In view of the fact that the Government has already passed an order in compliance with the judgment, we see no reason to proceed with the contempt proceedings. The contempt proceedings is dropped and the Contempt Case is closed.
