J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has evidently been posted on light duty pending consideration of the application for category change. This is evident from Annexure R1(a) memorandum produced along with the counter affidavit of the respondent.

2. The petitioner is free to apply for category change without detriment to his service benefits as contemplated under Section 47 of the Persons With Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. Any such application filed within two weeks from today shall be dealt with as per law within two months. No grounds for pursuing this Contempt of Court Case exists.
