JUDGMENT

This is an appeal challenging the conviction of sentence under Section 13(2) read with 13 (1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (PC Act) and also Section 420 of the IPC. Pending this appeal the appellant died. The learned Public Prosecutor has produced copy of the death certificate showing the death of the appellant on 11.12.2009.

In such a circumstance, this appeal is closed as abated under Section 394(2) of Cr.P.C.
