ORDER

A judgment of conviction under the Prevention of Corruption Act (P.C. Act) is under challenge. Pending this appeal, the appellant died. The learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the death certificate, showing the death of the appellant on 28.05.2013. The fact of death is not in dispute. When the appellant is no more, and when the sentence does not involve any fine sentence, the appeal will stand abated.

Hence, this criminal appeal is closed as abated under Section 394(2) Cr.P.C.
