J U D G M E N T

This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondent herein has willfully disobeyed the direction issued by this Court in AnnexureA judgment delivered on 22.5.2014 in W.P.(C) No.30134 of 2013. When the contempt case came up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the contempt case was filed and notice was served on the respondent, the respondent has by order passed on 24.1.2015, a copy of which is produced as Annexure R1(a) along with I.A.No.73 of 2015 filed by the respondent, approved the appointment of the petitioner as H.S.A. (Social Science) with effect from 2.6.2008. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also submitted that pursuant to such approval, arrears of salary and allowances was also disbursed to the petitioner. In such circumstances, as the direction issued by this Court has been complied with though belatedly, I find no reason to proceed further with the contempt case. It is accordingly closed. P.N.RAVINDRAN, (JUDGE) vps
