Shaffique,J This contempt case is filed alleging non-compliance of directions issued by this Court in W.A.No.2558/2009. 2.
The learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that orders have been passed by the Government on 27/12/2014 complying with the directions issued by the aforesaid judgment. It is submitted that compliance with the judgment will be subject to the result in the Special Leave Petition filed by the Government before the Supreme Court in this regard, and that payment in terms of the order dated 27/12/2014 will be paid to the petitioner within a period of one month.
Having regard to the fact that orders have already been passed pursuant to the judgment dated 26/05/2014, we do
not find it necessary to proceed with the contempt case. Accordingly, the same is dropped.
