J U D G M E N T

Today, when this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the direction issued by this Court in WP(C).No.27512/2014 has been complied with and the order issued in that connection was communicated to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the the direction in the judgment to the respondent was to consider the application for licence submitted by him in accordance with the provisions of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act and the Rules made thereunder and the order issued pursuant to the judgment was not one issued as directed in accordance with the provisions of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act and the Rules made thereunder. 3.

In the light of the submission made by the

learned counsel for the petitioner, this contempt case is closed, without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to challenge the order issued pursuant to the judgment in accordance with law.
