O R D E R
The petitioners are accused in crime No.707/2014 of East Kallada Police Station, registered for the offence under Section 498A IPC.

The first petitioner is the husband of the second respondent and petitioners 2 & 3 are his mother and sister respectively. It is submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and the proceedings in the criminal case may be quashed.

The second respondent has entered appearance through counsel and filed an affidavit to the effect that the matter has been settled and she has no objection to the proceedings in the criminal case being quashed. 5.
I have perused the affidavit. I am satisfied that the allegations are true and no public interest is involved. This is a fit case to quash the proceedings in the criminal
Crl.M.C.No.211 of 2015 -2case.
In the result, Crl.M.C. is allowed. The proceedings in crime No.707/2014 of East Kallada Police Station are quashed.
