The petitioner herein is the 5th accused in crime No.726/2013 of the Kasaragod Police Station registered under Section 20(b)IIC of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. He is involved in some other crimes also. As per the common order dated 18.11.2014 in Crl.M.P.No.4137/2014 and other petitions, he was granted bail by the learned Sessions Judge, Kasaragod on certain conditions. He is aggrieved by one of the conditions that he shall report before the Dy.S.P.(Administration) on all Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays till final report is filed. He seeks orders from this Court cancelling or modifying the condition.

2. On hearing both sides, and on consideration of various aspects including the other crimes and the progress of investigation, I find that the condition cannot be cancelled. However, in the present circumstance, it can be modified appropriately. As done in the other crime, he can be directed to report before the Dy.S.P.(Administration) on all Mondays, till the

Crl.M.C.No.992 of 2015 final report is filed.

In the result, this Crl.M.C. is allowed. The condition imposed by the court below directing the petitioner to report before the Dy.S.P.(Administration) on three days in a week will stand modified to the effect that he shall report before the investigating officer between 10 AM and 11 AM on all Mondays, till final report is filed.
