The petitioners herein are the accused in C.C No.6 of 2009 of the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-II, Nedumangad. They seek a direction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to the trial court for expeditious disposal of the case. Now there is a report from the learned Magistrate that trial is going on in the said case. The learned Magistrate has already examined some of the material witnesses, and now warrant of arrest is pending against two of the witnesses. The case stands posted for examination of the witnesses to 31.3.2015. It is reported that the remaining witnesses, Cws 7 to 9, are the Police Officers who registered the F.I statement, conducted investigation and submitted final report. Their examination will not take much time. The learned Magistrate has also reported that earnest efforts are being taken, including coercive steps to procure the witnesses in view of the directions of this Court in Crl.M.C No.2963 of 2013. In the

Crl.M.C No.1085 of 2015 above situation, I do not find the necessity of further direction for expeditious disposal. The report submitted by the learned Magistrate is recorded, and the Crl.M.C is closed.
