O R D E R

Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

The petitioner is the accused in CC.NO.624/2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Malappuram and the first respondent is the first informant. The petitioner is charged with having committed the offences under Sections 354, 506(1) of Indian Penal Code read with Section 118(d) of the Kerala Police Act. It is submitted that the matter has been settled. The prayer is to quash the proceedings in the criminal case.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and for the first respondent and the learned Public Prosecutor. 4.

I have perused the affidavit filed by the first respondent. I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and no public interest is involved in this case. In the result, this Crl.M.C is allowed. The proceedings
