O R D E R
Petition filed under Sec.482 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioners are accused in Crime No.579 of 2015 of the Chathannoor Police station. He is alleged to have committed the offences under Secs.294(b), 341, 323 and 354 (B) of Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the matter has been settled and the proceedings in the criminal case may be quashed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, 2nd respondent and the learned Public Prosecutor.
4. The petitioner and the 2nd respondent were classmates. The dispute has been settled. The 2nd respondent has filed an affidavit to that effect. He has no objection to the proceedings in the criminal case being quashed. I am satisfied that the allegations are true and no public interest is involved in this case.
In the result, this Crl.M.C. is allowed. The proceedings in Crime No.5179 of 2015 of the Police station are quashed.
