O R D E R
The petitioner herein is the defacto complainant in Crime No.1456/2015 of the Perumbavoor Police Station, registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. She brought this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for an effective investigation in the crime. Now it is submitted that the parties have come to terms amicably out of court, and the whole disputes resolved forever. The petitioner has filed affidavit along with Crl.M.A No.8138/2015, to the effect that the whole dispute stands resolved, that she stands divorced by her husband, and that she has received the benefits under the law. Now her prayer is to quash the FIR and the further proceeding. Crl.M.A No.8138/2015 is accepted, and the present application is considered as an application to quash the FIR and the further proceeding. When the whole dispute stands resolved, it is appropriate that the further proceeding be quashed.
In the result, this Criminal Miscellaneous Case is
Crl.M.C No.2500 of 2015 allowed.
The FIR and further proceeding in Crime No.1456/2015 of the Perumbavoor Police Station will stand quashed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. P.UBAID JUDGE ab
