Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1271/2014 of Valiyathura Police Station registered for the offence under Section 354 of Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the matter has been settled and the proceedings in the criminal case may be quashed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the second respondent and the learned Public Prosecutor. 4.

I have perused the affidavit filed by the second respondent-victim. I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and no public interest is involved in this case. In the result, this Crl.M.C. is allowed. The proceedings in Crime No.1271/2014 of Valiyathura Police Station are quashed.
