O R D E R
First petitioner is the husband and the second petitioner the mother-in-law of the first respondent. The petitioners have allegedly committed the offences under section 498A of IPC. It is submitted that the matter has been settled and the proceedings in the criminal case may be quashed.
2. Heard.
3. I have perused the affidavit filed by the first respondent who has appeared through a counsel. The matter has been settled. She has no objection to the proceedings in the criminal case being quashed. I am satisfied that the allegation is true and no public interest is involved in this case. In the result, this Crl. M.C. is allowed. The proceedings in C.C. No. 31 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate-I, Punalur are quashed.
