O R D E R

The prayer in this Crl.M.C is as follows:

"... to direct the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruvananthapuram to take up C.C No.149/2013 and dispose of the case within a period of four months."

2. As directed by this Court, the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvananthapuram has submitted a report dated 20.7.2015 to the Registry of this Court wherein it is stated that the case in C.C No.149/13 now stands posted to 18.8.2015 for framing charge and that 14 witnesses are cited in the charge sheet and that the total number of cases pending before that court as on the end of June 2015 is about 6861 and that considering the total number of pendency of cases in that court and the nature of the offence alleged against the accused in this case altleast 6 moths time is required for the disposal of C.C No.149/13 after framing charge. 3.

Heard Sri. Shajin S. Hameed, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the

Crl.M.C No.3824 of 2015 - : 2 :- respondent, State of Kerala. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, as well as the report dated 20.7.2015 furnished by the court below, it is ordered in the interest of justice that the court below will take all reasonable endevours possible under the circumstances to ensure that C.C No.149/13 pending before that court is disposed of without much delay and efforts may be taken to ensure the final disposal of that case atleast within the time limit suggested by the court below as per that report, provided all parties concerned and the witnesses fully co-operate with the court below for the conduct and completion of the trial. With these observations and directions the Crl.M.C stands finally disposed of.
