O R D E R
The petitioners are accused Nos.1 to 6 in Anx-A2 final report/charge sheet filed in Crime No.728/2014 of Peringome Police Station registered for offences under Secs.143,147, 148, 341, 323, 324 r/w 149 of the IPC, which is now pending as C.C.No.167/2015 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Payyannur. The gist of the prosecution allegation is that on 6.10.2014 at 18:00 hours the accused persons assaulted the defacto complainant and caused bodily injury to him and thus committed the offences as alleged. It is now submitted that the entire disputes have been settled between the parties and that the 2nd respondent (defacto complainant) has sworn to Anx-A3 affidavit wherein he has stated that he has no objection in the quashment of the impugned criminal proceedings pending against the petitioners. It is in the light of these aspects that the petitioners have filed this Crl.M.C seeking the prayer for quashment of the impugned criminal proceedings.
