Petitioner is the accused in CC.No.295/2013 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Manjeri. He is charged with having committed the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 341, 354 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted that the matter has been settled. The prayer is to quash the proceedings in the criminal case.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the second respondent and the learned Public Prosecutor. 4.
I have perused the affidavit filed by the second respondent. I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and no public interest is involved in this case. In the result, this Crl.M.C. is allowed.
