ORDER
Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
2. The petitioners are the accused in Crime No.215 of 2015 of Chelakkara Police Station registered for the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 108, 109, 120-B and 420 read with Section 149 IPC. It is submitted that the matter has been settled and the proceedings in the criminal case may be quashed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and for the second respondent and the learned Public Prosecutor. 4.
Perused the affidavit filed by the second respondent. The second respondent has no objection to the proceedings in the criminal case being quashed. I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and no public interest is involved in this case. This is a fit case to invoke the jurisdiction of this court under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in the criminal case. In the result, this Crl.M.C is allowed.
