O R D E R

The limited prayer in this petition is for a direction to JFCM Court, Karunagappally to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on the date of his surrender itself before the said court.

It appears that the petitioner was arrayed as an accused in Crime No.334 of 1999 and after taking cognizance, due to the default of the accused, the case against him was included in the L.P.Register as L.P.No.157 of 2008. The petitioner has given reasons as to why he could not appear before the court and now he prays for a direction to the court below to consider his bail application on the date of his surrender itself.

Hence, this petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to surrender before the court concerned within two weeks from today and if an application for bail is moved by the petitioner, the court concerned may make every endeavour to dispose of it on the same day.
