This petition has been registered pursuant to the receipt of Report No.43 of 2015 dated 9.2.2015 submitted by the Honourable Ombudsman appointed by this Court. The Honourable Ombudsman has reported that Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot, learned counsel of this Court who was appointed as the Amicus Curiae to represent the Honourable Ombudsman has expressed his desire to be relieved of his duties as Amicus Curiae on account of various ailments. The Honourable Ombudsman has reported that having regard to the desire expressed by Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot, he has accepted his request. The Honourable Ombudsman has also submitted that Sri.P.Ramachandran, Advocate of this Court may be appointed to act as Amicus Curiae in the place of Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot from 1.3.2015 onwards. The Honourable Ombudsman has also enclosed along with the report, the Bio-data of Sri.P.Ramachandran, Advocate. In the light of the report submitted by the Honourable Ombudsman and the submissions made by Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot, we appoint Sri.P.Ramachandran, Advocate of this Court to act as
DBP No.26/2015 Amicus Curiae in the place of Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot with effect from 1.3.2015. The remuneration payable to the learned Amicus Curiae is fixed at Rs.20,000/- per mensem for the time being. We also place on record our deep appreciation of the exemplary assistance rendered by Sri.Krishnakumar Mangot, learned Amicus Curiae. D.B.P. No.26 of 2015 is disposed of accordingly.
