The learned Ombudsman has filed report No.180/2014 which relates to the sanction for repairs to Pazhayannur Devaswom office building in Pazhayannur temple. The estimate is for `13,20,000/-. Earlier this Court had granted permission as per order in D.B.P.No.65/2013. But the Temple Advisory Committee requested for including certain works like wiring, plumbing, ceiling works, flooring etc.

The learned Ombudsman has submitted the report after hearing the local fund audit also.

We heard the learned counsel for the Cochin Devaswom Board and the learned Amicus Curiae appearing for the learned Ombudsman.

The learned counsel for the Devaswom Board submits that

DBP No.28/2015 the estimate is prepared as per the schedule of rates relied upon for preparing the earlier estimate. We therefore sanction the proposal as sought for. The work will be executed through the contractor who has tendered the work.

The D.B.P. is accordingly disposed of.
