ORDER
Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, J.
We have perused the application and the materials. We have also seen the report of the learned Ombudsman. Now, read the order dated 10.06.2015 which reads as follows: "Learned counsel for the Board will obtain specific instructions from the Chief Engineer, General regarding the statement in paragraph 3 of the report of the learned Ombudsman as regards the stand taken by the Local Fund Audit and also of the suggestion of the learned Ombudsman that height of the tile work can be limited to 5 feet instead of 9 feet to reduce expenditure."
2.
Today, we are shown the communication No.3423 of 22.06.2015 of the Chief Engineer (General), Travancore Devaswom Board to the learned counsel for the Board stating that the views of the learned Ombudsman have been acted upon and there will be reduction of about 40% regarding a particular item of providing wall tiles. Under such circumstances, we allow this petition with the rider that the modified estimate in accordance with what is
D.B.P.36/15 contained in letter No.3423 dated 22.06.2015 and also appropriate answer to what is contained in paragraph 3 of the report of the learned Ombudsman as regards the Local Fund Audit stand will be submitted before the learned Ombudsman and the work will be carried out upon the learned Ombudsman approving that estimate. This can be done without any further order in that regard. This DBP is ordered accordingly.
