ORDER

Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, J.

We have perused the materials. We have also seen the report of the learned Ombudsman. The objections raised by the Local Fund Audit depending on the comparative evaluation of the income and expenditure are also taken note of. We are of the view that the requirement is intricately connected with the activities in connection with the rituals and requirements as to religious practices. Temple Advisory Committee has also given reasons as to why, it is unable to make any further contributions. This is reflected in paragraph 3 of the report of the learned Ombudsman. They had already constructed Oottupura at their own expenditure and offered the same for the use of the temple. Under such circumstances, we are of the view that the request made is just and reasonable and is for the purpose of the temple. Having regard to the nature of the work, Travancore Devaswom Board authorities will ensure that though the work is entrusted to a

D.B.P.53/15 nominee of the Temple Advisory Committee, that is carried out without any delay. The work shall be completed and the expenditure subjected to audit.

D.B.P is ordered accordingly.
