JUDGMENT
Ramachandran Nair, J.
This appeal is filed by the State aggrieved by the judgment and decree in LAR No.55/2010 of the Sub Court, Thodupuzha. The properties were acquired for the approach road to Irrukkumpuzha Bridge, as per notification under Section 4(1) dated 24.10.2008. The land value awarded by the Land Acquisition Officer is at the rate of Rs.73,400/- which has been enhanced to Rs.1,90,000/-.
2. We heard learned Senior Government Pleader appearing for the State.
3. What is argued is that the land value fixed by the reference court is not justified.
4. In the connected appeals, viz. LAA No.712/2012 and connected cases, we have dismissed the appeals filed by the State and allowed the appeals filed by the claimants relating to similar items of
LAA 763/2012 land included in Group 3 and we have refixed the land value at the rate of Rs.3,10,000/- per are.
In that view of the matter, no interference is called for herein also and the appeal is dismissed. The parties will suffer their costs in the appeal.
