Perused Special Report No.178 of 2015.

Mr.Justice P.R.Raman, Former Judge of this Court has assumed charge as the Ombudsman for Travancore and Cochin Devaswom Boards on 04.12.2015 in terms of his appointment with effect from 01.12.2015. The present staff structure and remuneration for the staff will continue until otherwise ordered. Having considered the contents of paragraph Nos.3 & 4 of that report, we think that a separate bench clerk is not necessary. It may also be not feasible to accommodate two persons against the post of Peon. We have also considered whether the two persons mentioned in the opening part of paragraph No.3 can work as Peons and share duties, responsibilities and the payments for the said post. On a deeper consideration, we are of the view that it may not be administratively convenient or feasible to have such an arrangement. Hence, let Sri.Ayyappan Thampi be appointed to work as the Peon in lieu of Sri.A.K.Krishnan Nair, with effect from 01.01.2016. It is so ordered. This DBP is ordered accordingly.
