JUDGMENT

This original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to interfere with the petitioner's peaceful use of the pathway passing through the property of the fourth respondent and for other reliefs. It appears that the dispute involved in this original petition is essentially a civil dispute between the petitioner and the contesting respondents. The original petition itself shows that there were civil disputes pending before the civil court. When this matter came up for hearing on 29-07-2010, this Court directed to take steps for serving notice on the fourth respondent within a week. But no steps were seen taken. When this matter came up today in the defect list, none appears for the petitioner. This original petition has been filed as early as in 1998. Therefore, there is no meaning in keeping this matter pending any more. Therefore, this

O. P. No.7740 of 1998 -2original petition is dismissed without going into the merits of the contentions raised.
