JUDGMENT
P.N.Ravindran, J.
This appeal arises from the award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kozhikode on 14.07.2010 in O.P.(M.V.)No.308 of 2010. By the said award, the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal awarded the sum of Rs.11,600/- as compensation to the respondent/claimant and directed the appellant/third respondent insurer to deposit the said amount together with interest and costs. The said award is under challenge in this appeal.
2. The issue raised in the instant appeal is covered against the appellant by the judgment delivered by us today in M.A.C.A.No.1647 of 2010 and connected cases wherein we have upheld the award passed in 23 other cases arising out of the very same accident and repelled the contentions raised by the appellants. In the light of the said decision, no interference is called for with the impugned award. The appeal fails and is accordingly dismissed but with a direction to the appellant to satisfy the award, if it has not so far been satisfied, within two months from today. No costs.
