The only relief prayed for in this original petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is for a direction to the Land Tribunal, Thrissur to take up S.M.1421/2008 and dispose of it on merits.

2. The petitioner says that she claimed tenancy right over the property and moved the Land Tribunal as per S.M.1421/2008. According to the petitioner, the respondent entered appearance and all proceedings are complete. It is pointed out that the matter is being adjourned from time to time without any decision and that causes irreparable loss and injury to the petitioner. The petitioner therefore prays for early disposal of S.M.1421/2008.

3. In the nature of the order that is proposed to be passed, it is felt that notice to the respondent is unnecessary.

O.P.(C) No.161/2015 This original petition is disposed of directing the Land Tribunal, Thrissur to take up S.M.1421/2008 at the earliest and dispose of it as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
