The petitioner suffered an order of confiscation as evident from Ext.P1 order. That was challenged in appeal as C.M.A.19/2014. In the C.M.A., the petitioner moved for interim relief, which petition, the court below posted along with the appeal. The petitioner points out that, that causes considerable prejudice to him and there may be direction from this Court to the court below to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible.

2.

After having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is felt that it is only appropriate that in the nature of the relief sought for in the appeal and also in the facts and circumstances of the case, the appeal needs to be disposed of as expeditiously as possible.

This petition is allowed and the Additional District Court, (Fast Track-II) Manjeri is directed to take up C.M.A.

O.P.(C) No.192 of 2015 -2No. 19/2014 as early as possible and dispose it of as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
