JUDGMENT

K.Ramakrishnan,J.

This is a petition filed by the petitioner seeking speedy disposal of OP.No.1460/2013 pending before the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram. According to the petitioner, though evidence was over, the case has not been disposed of so far and is being adjourned without any reason. So this petition is filed seeking a direction for disposal of the case.

2. On the basis of the allegations we have directed the Registry to ascertain from the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram regarding the maximum time required for disposal of the case and accordingly a note has been prepared by the Registry stating that the case would be disposed of by the Family Court on or before 31.8.2015 and the case is now posted to 28.7.2015. In view of the report submitted by the Family Court Judge, there is no necessity to issue any direction.

3. The above report is accepted and the petition is disposed of accordingly. Office is directed to communicate the order at the earliest.
