This is a petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

2.

Perused the report of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-I, North Paravur. Even though this Court has specifically asked for a report as to the period within which M.P.No.2720/2014 could be disposed of, it seems that without answering the said query, the learned Magistrate has requested for one and half year's time for the disposal of the case finally. What is contemplated herein is the disposal of the M.P. filed in the M.C. and not the M.C. as such.

In the result, this O.P.(Crl) stands disposed of by

O.P.(Crl)278 of 2014 -: 2 :- directing the learned Magistrate to dispose of M.P.No.2720/2014 in M.C.No.162/2014, within a period of two months from today.
